A boom of a Second Life in Japan

Last day, I had a exciting thing at me. I got a message from a Reader and ask to give my Tokonoma. I wrote about it on this blog few days ago. What I get a message from somebody is my pleasure. Thank you.

Anyway

Second life has a lot of Camping.
Camping is the method that is good to gather people.
However, Japan does not have most of Capmping for some reason.
It is only one place that there is a lot of Camping. The Camping is to have a company
gathers people and watch an advertisement, besides.

General Camping is a club, and to gather people as far as oneself knows it.
Camping has gather people like HippiePay. Or when a person selling a house,
they put Camping of the cleaning peoples. I think the Camping is good way for eojoy.

And the Camping business conclude in Second Life. It is a delicate difference, but I can
understand the difference of the way of thinking for Second Life and the difference of
the way of thinking for Camping.

Japanese resident ratio is about 2 or 3 % in all.
However, they hardly go out non-japanese land and were blown away from non japanese.

What a pity and funny!

But Second Life is contribut to make a view of japanese into wide open.

I hope a younger japanese will go out and experience and touch into a heart of" non-small guy".

Asian house is difficult to make more than Europian's house, I guess.
A seating like this is called "Seiza" in Japan.
We almost can do as this style, but white peoples won't do SEIZA.

Maybe a degree of bony pelvis differ from Asians.
This is caused a defference of style to run .

The Camping is rare.

Camping is very populor place to gather peoples.

In Japan area, Camping is not populor.

It was winter, 2006 that Second Life became famous in Japan.

Yes certainly.
At October of 2006, Second Life User of japan was aprox. 2000 peoples.
Maybe at that time, Anshe Chung became famous in japan,too.
Moreover, Car maker of japan NISSAN became populor for the japanese by Media.

At first, some big company had an eye that the second life will be the next Internet
and the world of new business.

Particurally, Dentsu which is biggest advertisement company in japan had done.
They bought 100 SIM and is planning to creat 4category groups.
For examples, "The Middle Age" , "Edo-era of japan" , "Street Culture" , "Real World".
It will be contains all of things in the world. I don't know weather it is good or bad ,
weather fun or not-fun. At any rate, they aim at big success in Second Life.

At the 2007, a lot of company has going to Second Life and creat bulding and
broadcast it on TV and Newspaper. Almost everyday I can watch them in papers.

As you know, a number of japanese residents are 2~3% of second life.
A same time residents of In-World is 30,000~40,000.


Thus, almost japanese companies aim to are 600~700 peoples in Second Life.

As real thing and as virtual thing

I often hear it said that the Japanese second lifers are thnking it as the virtual world.
I think that Americans and the person from EU regard second lifer looks second life as a thing same as reality.

I feel the same thing, too.

I borrowed Miami before. Miami is an island called Miami in the second life.
It was called Key West. Ummm. good note...

There is very splendid land. The owner is an American company called Fusion World.
When I lived in Key West of the second life, I felt being really in Miami. Even if the feeling
was a one-50th of real Miami, KeyWest was enough valuable land. This land was very expensive. However, there was value and enough experience for me.

The common Japanese demands non-daily life from second life. However, the person who
began second life feels like comparatively repeating second life with reality recently.

Maybe I thought that The Japanese second lifer is like OTAKU still more,
but thinks that I changed soon or already changed it.

Recently, a lot of big company in japan has entry in Second Life.
Indeed, It is unfortunate thing, I guess. 'cause almost japanese look them as

The main Land for the japanese in Second Life

The ratio of Japanese second lifer is called total 2~3 %.

Because the number of the current total accounts is 9,300,000 people in September, 2007,

the number of the Japanese users is 279,000.

However, a unique number is called 60%.

Even if a lot of number of the Japanese users estimates it, it is watched 170,000 people as follows.

The number of the access is around 40,000 at the maximum at the same time.
